FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Our rooms will remain private as always. We will do our best to have only 1 group in the lobby at a time with staggered bookings. Because of this, it is imperative you are not late or don’t arrive too early (10 minutes prior to your booking time is perfect). We will send you a text if we can accommodate you earlier than your appointment.
2. In light of the new CDC recommendations, we are no longer requiring facial coverings. Each visitor can exercise their best and reasonable judgment to wear a facial covering or not if they are fully vaccinated.
3. We ask guests to use provided hand sanitizer or wash their hands prior to entering your experience.
4. If anyone in your party is feeling ill, we can issue you credit for them.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time for a pre-room briefing and to sign waivers. Your experience will begin at the time you booked. If you might be running late, please call us immediately so we can discuss your options.
We welcome players of all ages! Note that some of the puzzles may be too complex for younger children. We recommend kids ages 12 and up. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a participant of at least 18 years of age. Children must have paid admission if they are not in a carrier or stroller for the duration of the experience.
While the goal is to escape in 60 minutes or less, you will always be able to get out in the event of an emergency or to use the restroom. Just be warned that your countdown clock will keep ticking under any circumstances.
We hope it doesn’t have to come to that and you miss out on the experience. While we don’t issue refunds, you may reschedule your reservation. Please try and give us a call at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time. We’re more than happy to work with you to ensure you have a great experience.
However, you must give us a minimum of 2 hours notice to reschedule your experience. If you don’t give us a 2 hour notice, there will be a $40 rescheduling fee and you can not reschedule for the same day. No exceptions!
Absolutely! Nexus Escape Room is an excellent team building activity and unique idea for birthday parties. Please give us a call or email us to discuss your booking needs. There will be an additional charge for booking outside of normal operating hours.
Teamwork, organization, and communication is essential to success! Don’t spend too much time on something you’re struggling with. Ask for help from your team, keep track of any new discoveries and how it can be used in your current situation. Everyone has different strengths and an escape room is where you can come together to put them to good use.
In general, we do not accept walk-ins.
The reason why is that our rooms are private! This means if you or your group books, you absolutely will not be placed in a room with other people, because the experience is private. However, if you were to drive over and try to walk-in and we already have a booking for that time, we simply would not be able to accommodate you on the spot, and you’ll have likely wasted your time.
If you’d really like to try, you’re welcomed to call and ask if we can accommodate you on the spot! We’d be happy to make something happen if we can.
Nope! We are happy to announce we offer only private bookings.
For groups of 3 and more, the price is $30 per person. For groups of 2, the price is $40 per person due to our rooms being private.

The maximum we recommend in our room is 8 players to ensure everyone feels included and has a fun experience. However, our maximum occupancy is 10 players for Cryptic Cay and 6 for Escape Your Nightmares and Polly’s Problematic Predicament. If you would like to bring an extra person, contact us ahead of time. For larger groups, contact us for private parties or corporate team building events.
The minimum amount of people required for an experience would be 2 people. However, the last 2 time slots for each experience must be a minimum of 4 people.
Of course! As long as the maximum number of people doesn’t go above the capacity for the room. Since our rooms are private, the booking system won’t allow any additional bookings. Give us a call to book the additional people, or show up a little earlier to get them checked in and paid for.
We only have one scary room: Escape Your Nightmares. We don’t recommend young children, those who are pregnant, have heart conditions, epilepsy or any other condition that may be triggered by being scared in this room. Other than that room, the rest of the experiences are not scary and are family friendly. Please note if you are too scared to continue during your experience, your tickets will not be refunded and you will not be able to switch to another room.

We are in a small shopping center with Tropics Sports Cafe. We are right next to the laundromat.
That won’t be an issue at all! Our rooms are large and the doors are always unlocked. You are free to leave the room at any time.
You must book a minimum of 2 people to reserve your experience during the hours of 2pm-7pm. In the later time slots 8pm and after 4 would be the minimum to book.
Groups of 3 or more: Please call or email us for a special promo code to drop the price down to the $31 (plus tax). Everyone else can pay upon arrival. (Note: You must book a minimum of 2 people to reserve your time slot)
Please note: There is an additional $1 charge per person for those who want to pay separately. If part of your party is going to pay upon arrival, it’s important to arrive 15 minutes before your booking time to finish processing all payments, along with waivers and your pre-game briefing. If you book with the promo code for a group of 3 or more and only 2 players come in, you will be responsible for the remaining balance for the cost of 2 players.
